Meet the Pen Maker

Patty Gregorio has a passion for pens. Her love of the lathe started when she was in high school. The choir teacher heard one note and sent her to Mr. Tibbs’s industrial arts class. For four years, she learned the tools of the trade as well as mechanical drawing. Today, in her garage workshop, Patty creates custom pens, pencils, letter openers, stoppers, bottle openers, measuring scoops, and more. If it can be turned on a lathe, then Patty has probably tackled it.

Her sweet, black and tan rescue dog, Lima, often supervises the projects and is the inspiration behind the name Black Dog Pens.
